First I’d like to welcome our new team riders to the Element Family. Chad Tim Tim, Mike Barker, Jimmy Lannon and Levi Brown are now officially on and will be traveling extensively with the rest of the team. Chad’s board will be in shops any day now. Welcome to the Family!

Tony Tave officially turns pro on Nov. 1. Congratulations Tony! His boards are in the warehouse and isn’t it a bitch we won’t let him come in and take some till the first? We’re lame, aren’t we? Anyway, we will be having an invite only Pro Release Party at an undisclosed location deep in the heart of Orange County on the night of the 2nd. If your not invited, follow the unicorn to the other side of the rainbow and you’ll find it.

The team just got back from Puerto Rico where they braved hurricane season in hopes of some quality spots. We found them, and only got rained on a few times with no serious tropical storms. We ate and drank well with TWS photog and food connoisseur Chris Ortiz. 10 days in the Caribbean did everyone just fine and that wraps up our Summer of Endurance.

Next up Goofy Vs Regular in Lake Forest, CA where Nyjah, Collin and Tave will represent the Goofy squad, Tosh and Senn repping Regular. Following that up is Damn Am in Costa Mesa, CA with Schaefer, Clements, Milligan (?) and the rest of the crew. These guys put on the best contests, and everyone is waiting to see who has the best Halloween costume. Look for Provost, Dallas, Levi, Lacey, and Schulte at that one.

Lacey Baker is on a contest tear and after recently winning Slam city Jam and the Canadian Open she is now ranked the No. 1 female in the world. Along side her, is Karen Jones from Brazil who is No. 1 in Vert. Good work ladies! Congratulations to Bucky who has just won his second consecutive Dew Tour Cup. Buck scoops up $75,000 and a new Toyota truck for beating out the rest of the vert dogs this summer.

Bam is currently traveling the world attending Jackass 2 premiers and the next stop will be London on Halloween. He’ll also be attending a premiere of Gumball 3000 in London on Nov. 30. These 2 limited edition Bam boards are in stores now.

Tosh and Mike's first ever Element pro shoes were released at Septembers ASR trade show in San Diego. To kick it off, a party was had and paint was spilled. The party was called “Make Your Mark” and everyone who entered was greeted with a handful of paint pens to let loose on the 2 walls of grip and 78 blank boards.

Tony Hawk Project 8, releasing this November, will feature Bam, Mike and the little-big man, Nyjah. This should be the best video game ever in regards to individual style and realistic movement. They’ve never utilized motion capture technology to this extent for any video game ever. I don’t know anything about it, but the video game nerds over here are telling me its literally going to be the shit.
