Lake Forest, CA - Emerica and Heath Kirchart share a long history of breaking barriers and paving new roads in skateboarding and footwear. Now Emerica is adding apparel to that list. For the Fall 2007 season and beyond, we’re proud to introduce Emerica Gear, our full-fledged apparel line.

Heath Kirchart has had a few apparel sponsors over his illustrious skateboarding career, but none of them have ever been quite the right fit for him, until now! Heath is finally home where he belongs! To celebrate his homecoming, Emerica Gear will release signature Heath Kirchart apparel pieces consisting of HK denim pants, a HK flannel shirt and a HK zipper hooded sweatshirt.

To go along with his new Gear collection, Emerica will also be releasing a brand-new Heath Kirchart pro model shoe named the Kirchart SDK. The Kirchart SDK features a much thinner silhouette compared to Heath’s previous pro models. It features a cupsole with the look of a vulcanized shoe and includes STI System G2™ in the heel to save your frail feet from that monstrous 12-stair.

Joining Heath on Emerica Gear is the newest Young Emerican, Marquise Preston. Marquis has been coming up like a true street stalker these last few months, and has most recently won a handful of best trick contests, including the one at Active Am. He has since been skating full steam ahead with the rest of the Emerica team, filming for Emerica’s new video that is due out next year. Be ready for Marquis to shatter your TV screens when this video drops, and look for Emerica Gear down at your local skate shop this Summer.
